Questions
- How does billing work?
- You top up prepaid credit. While a pod is running we charge its shape's hourly price every minute, to the second. Pulling an image is free; billing starts when your container starts.
- Is there a minimum?
- To start a pod your balance must cover at least ten minutes of it. There are no monthly fees.
- What happens when my balance runs out?
- We warn you on every command when you're under ten minutes of runway. At A$0 your pods keep running for five minutes of grace, then stop.
- What about disk and volumes?
- Each shape includes its disk. Network volumes are billed per GB-month of data stored, metered hourly.
- What if a region is full?
- Shapes marked on demand start on a new node in a few minutes; the pod waits in provisioning and isn't billed until it runs.
- How do I add credit?
- Run svl topup 50 to pay by card (A$10 to A$5,000), or svl topup auto to top up automatically when you run low. Every top-up comes with a tax invoice by email.
- Which currency?
- Australian dollars. Every price shown includes GST.
